Yard, began his artist journey in 2020. In 2020, he began ​to study different acrylic painting techniques, brush ​strokes, and painting tools before creating his first acrylic ​painting in 2022. Yard believes that art is a gift, and that ​he was chosen to be an artist for his art to be used as a ​conduit for inspiration, information, and love to all ​viewers.

This fun and bright piece of acrylic art was created with peace, positivity, and love in mind. When this piece was created, it was the first day in two weeks the city of Cleveland had seen sunshine. The blue sky and rays of sun motivated the bright color scheme for this painting and a fashionably fresh night on the town with a beautiful lady.


The painting was done with a catalyst wedge and palette knives, as well as, dry brushes. Form of Fashion was created using the impasto, dry brush, overlay, and the splatter techniques. This paintings name was created to remind viewers that brighter days always come after the rain.

This is a representation of the tears that will fall forever after enduring so much last the past few years. The black tears represent pain in his life, and the pain that stems from the treacherous state of black people. The orange tears represents the pain caused by death in family. These are tears that will always flow infinitely, caused by pain that may never fully heal.
